Women’s basketball adds two nationwide televised conference contests

Newport News, Virginia – Fordham’s women’s basketball won two more nationally televised conference games for the 2021-22 campaign, the league office said this afternoon, bringing their current tally to three in addition to all the other home contests that air on ESPN +.

The Rams will host both televised games – first against Rhode Island at noon Sunday, Jan.9 on CBS Sports Network, and 10 days later on Wednesday night, Jan.19, against George Washington on NBCUniversal Platforms with a warning scheduled for 7 p.m. former competition will be the first of a double program with VCU and Saint Louis.

Fordham was previously announced as one of two ESPNU regular season contests for the league when the Rams play in Dayton on January 23.

The 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship will take place March 2-6, 2022, with all 14 programs participating in a single-site format. The first three rounds will be broadcast on ESPN +, the semi-finals will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, and the Championship will be on ESPNU on the 25th.e In a row, an ESPN network broadcast the conference title game.
