Take the first factory images of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

Google took a usual step today by releasing both the factory image and the OTA files for its new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones. They tend to do this at the launch of phones, giving users who like to tinker with a way to fix their phones if they tinker too much.

The factory image and OTA files come in multiple versions, but we don’t yet see what the out-of-the-box Day 1 update Google has told us to expect will be. At the moment we have four different versions, all very specific to your carrier.

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro factory images

  • SD1A.210817.015.A4
  • SD1A.210817.019.B1 (AT&T)
  • SD1A.210817.019.C2 (operators T-Mobile, USCC, Google Fi, CA, TW)
  • SD1A.210817.019.C4 (Verizon)
  • Downloads: Factory images | OTA

The new versions that are expected to arrive as a wireless update are SD1A.210817.036, the global version for most users, and SD1A.210817.036.A8, the Verizon version.

The other news with this version is a confirmation from Google that the Pixel 6 code name was indeed “loiole” and that of the Pixel 6 Pro was “raven”. These were rumored for a year before their release, but we love to see the names on these image pages.
