Stardock Launches Fences 4 with Peek, Support for Windows 10 and 11 | State

PLYMOUTH, Mich., December 8, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Stardock Posted Fences ® 4, an application that allows users to automatically organize shortcuts and icons on their desktops into custom-sized spaces called fences. Building on previous versions of Fences used by millions of Microsoft Windows users®, Fences 4 introduces new features that will streamline workflows while keeping desks organized.

New to Fences 4 is Peek, a feature that allows users to instantly view their fences by pressing Windows key + space, which dramatically speeds up access to content. For example, working in a program like Adobe ® First ® or Photoshop ®, users can display a folder portal filled with their source footage and images on the surface of their desktops by pressing the configurable hotkey. This eliminates the need to minimize the application and find the required asset in File Explorer.

Another new feature in Fences 4 is the desktop display feature. Windows hotkey + D can be configured to be toggled or held down to streamline your workflow for accessing content on your desktop.

“Fences 4 is designed to provide a modern desktop experience,” said Brad sams, vice president and general manager of Stardock Software. “Fences is the best way to organize your desktop, and the new ‘Peek’ feature allows you to access all of Fences’ content anytime and in any app. Your workflow will never be the same again. “

Along with its new features, Fences 4 has been optimized to load before the desktop when a PC is started, making it not only more functional, but also more efficient.

Fences 4 is available through Stardock’s Office of objects suite or alone from $ 9.99. For more information visit or the Fences 4 site here.
