Captain Erik A. Gottman, B-Troop Commander, Macon, Missouri, announces that B-Troop is looking for people interested in participating in the 16th B-Troop Community Alliance Program.
The Community Alliance program will begin on Monday, September 13, 2021 and will be hosted at the Hannibal Career and Tech Center in Hannibal. Participants will meet for 10 consecutive Monday evenings. The Community Alliance program is a unique opportunity for citizens to better understand and understand the formation and many functions of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. It provides the opportunity to meet and interact with soldiers and civilian employees of the Patrol. Classes and hands-on lessons will cover a variety of topics including firearms, traffic checks, traffic accidents and criminal investigations, polygraph exams and impaired driving. Participants will also participate in a walk with a soldier during the program. The program will conclude with an awards ceremony hosted and sponsored by the Missouri State Highway Patrol CDL Supersite, 4725 Ready Mix Road, Hannibal, MO 63401.
Class sizes will be limited to 18 people and will be filled on a first come, first served basis after a criminal record check.
